DMC LLP’s (“DMC”) privacy policy applies only to the websites dentistlawyers.ca and dentalplace.ca (each a site and collectively the “Sites”), which provides information, articles, services, publications, and other materials (the “Content”). DMC does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites. Each individual should carefully review the privacy policies and practices of the Sites before submitting personal information. By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to be bound by these Privacy Policy Tterms and conditions (“Terms”).
Protecting the privacy and personal information of individuals is to us and a key factor in the way we structure our online and offline activities. When visiting the Sites, there is no requirement to identify yourself.
Collection of Non-Identifying Information
DMC collects non-identifying information from your computer when visiting the Sites. This information may include, but is not limited to:

Cookies
Cookie technology captures aggregate and not individual information on visitor use patterns. This is a computer code that tracks “traffic” so we can determine how effective the Sites are in providing information and services to the public. A cookie contains no information that can identify you personally and DMC acquires no knowledge of your browsing path once you leave the Sites. Apart from providing a performance measure, the data collected by the cookie is otherwise meaningless.
Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
DMC may collect information that you voluntarily submit to us and that identifies you personally, including contact information, such as your name, email address, company name, address, phone number, photos, and other information about yourself or your business. Personal Information can also include information about any transactions, both free and paid, that you enter into on the Sites, and information about you that is available on the internet, such as from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google, or publicly available information that we acquire from service providers.
Personal Information also includes Navigational Information or Payment Information where such information can directly or indirectly identify an individual. Third-party Services
DMC may also use services provided by third parties to display relevant content, services and advertising to you. These third parties may use web beacons, cookies and/or similar technologies to collect or receive information from the Sites and elsewhere on the internet. They may then use that information to provide measurement services in order to understand your interests and retarget advertisements based on your previous visits to this website. Please note we do not share your personal information with any third-party advertiser, ad server or ad network.

DMC will never sell your Personal Information to a third party.

In the event that you have provided your email and express consent to DMC, you may receive promotional emails from DMC. Our mailing list is managed in accordance with the Canada Anti-Spam Legislation. There could be other occurrences where your email is required to provide you with information, content or services. As a result, you might receive follow-up emails, automated email responses and/or email reminders concerning each specific instance. Any words in the singular within the Terms include the plural and vice versa.
